Milica Stojanovic
Milica Stojanovic graduated from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 1988, and received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, in 1991 and 1993. She was a Postodoctoral Fellow at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where she remains active as a Guest Investigator. Prior to joining the Northeastern faculty, she was a Principal Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research interests include digital communications theory and statistical signal processing, and her expertise is in the area of underwater wireless communciations. Milica has served as an Associate Editor for Communciations with the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and she is a memeber of the IEEE Ocean Engineering Society's Administrative Committee.
